The Canadian Nuclear Learning Centre (CNLC) is Canada’s national platform for nuclear education, training, experiential learning, and knowledge stewardship. The CNLC was established in response to growing workforce demands across Canada’s nuclear sector and the need for a more coordinated national approach to nuclear learning.
No. The CNLC does not grant degrees and does not replace or compete with universities or colleges. The CNLC works with university and college partners across Canada to help learners access existing programs while also supporting new education, training, and experiential learning opportunities that meet workforce needs.
The CNLC is currently growing its learning library. Once fully established, the CNLC will support technical courses, professional development programs, experiential learning, laboratory training, leadership programs, interactive exercises, webinars, seminars, and curated external learning opportunities.

Yes. Organizations may register groups or cohorts for selected programs and customized training opportunities by contacting the CNLC directly at [email protected].
Yes. The CNLC offers customized training tailored to specific organizational, technical, operational, regulatory, or workforce development needs.
Examples include technical workshops, executive education, emergency preparedness exercises, safeguards training, research security awareness, workforce development programs, and specialized technical instruction.
No, course materials may not be redistributed or republished without permission from the content owner.
If you can no longer attend a course, please contact CNLC. Depending on how soon the course is, the CNLC maybe able to transfer your registration to another individual or issue a partial refund.
